Terms of Service

The service

ReproSlate drafts engineering tickets from screenshots using a configured third-party AI provider. Output is an AI-generated draft. Drafts may contain hallucinations, omissions, or other inaccuracies. You must review and edit output before filing, sharing, or relying on it. ReproSlate does not confirm root cause, reproduce the bug, verify environment, inspect backend systems, or know browser/OS/URL unless that information is visible in the screenshot or supplied by you.

No account required

Core use is anonymous via a signed identity cookie. Paying through Stripe may attach a Stripe customer id and receipt email to that identity. Support email is stored on the support case only unless an operator links it for billing resolution. ReproSlate does not require you to create a password account.

Permission, ownership, and prohibited uploads

You represent that you have the right to upload the screenshot and optional context, including any third-party content shown. Do not upload passwords, API keys, access tokens, payment card data, government IDs, health records, or other data you are not allowed to share with an AI processor. Do not upload illegal content or malware disguised as images. [ATTORNEY: indemnification for unauthorized uploads.]

AI processing and third-party providers

During generation, ReproSlate transmits a resized screenshot and optional context to the configured AI provider. The service is not fully local. Screenshots leave the browser for that request. ReproSlate does not intentionally keep a screenshot archive. Provider retention follows that provider's account settings and may include abuse-monitoring retention. Zero Data Retention is not claimed unless independently verified for the operator account. See the Privacy Policy.

Credits and subscriptions

Free use is a limited trial (lifetime and daily caps). A successful AI completion usually consumes the configured credit amount (default one). Credits are reserved before the provider call. If ReproSlate or the provider fails after reservation, the reserved credit is restored. Dissatisfaction with a successfully delivered draft is handled under support/refund policy, not as automatic credit reversal.

Credit packs are one-time purchases. Purchased packs do not expire in this product version and are not removed when Pro ends. Pro is a monthly credit allowance billed on a monthly interval until canceled — not unlimited usage. Unused Pro credits are replaced on the next verified paid invoice rather than stacked. Subscription credits are consumed before purchased credits. Canceling Pro stops future monthly grants after the current Stripe period. Service availability is not guaranteed; generation may be disabled for budget, abuse, or incidents.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. ReproSlate does not store card numbers. Displayed prices come from Stripe Price IDs configured by the operator. Checkout requires clickwrap acceptance of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy. Checkout shows product, credit quantity, one-time vs recurring charge, Pro monthly allowance, billing interval, cancellation, and refund policy before you continue to Stripe.

Refunds

Purchases are generally final once credits or Pro allowances have been delivered or used. Shift Warden LLC may approve refunds for duplicate charges, billing errors, failed entitlement delivery, verified technical failures that prevented reasonable use, or other circumstances required by applicable law. Approval is not automatic. Cancellation of Pro stops future renewals and does not automatically refund the current billing period. See the Refund Policy. Used AI credits are not restored solely because you dislike a draft. Provider failure before successful delivery restores the reserved credit. Intellectual property

You retain rights in your screenshots and in tickets you copy out, subject to the AI provider's terms. ReproSlate and its licensors retain the service software. [ATTORNEY: license grant to operate the service.]

Acceptable use

No bypass of rate limits, credits, budget, kill switch, or checkout consent
No attempts to access other users' identities, support cases, or admin
No prompt-injection attempts intended to extract secrets or change safety rules for harm
No scraping that degrades the service

Warranty disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS-IS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. AI-generated drafts may be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. [ATTORNEY: jurisdiction-specific consumer warranties.]

Limitation of liability

The operator may update these terms and increment the document version shown at checkout. Material payment changes should be shown before checkout. Paid checkout requires a new acceptance of the then-current Terms and Privacy versions.
